Approve scheduled email requests carefully

Scheduling separates the moment a message is approved from the moment it is sent. Check the recipient, content and campaign before approval so a later worker run does not deliver an outdated or inappropriate request.

A practical workflow

  1. Review the recipient

Confirm the address and the relevance of the customer interaction. Avoid using purchased or unrelated contact lists.

  2. Check the message

Use a neutral invitation and the correct review link. Remove private details that are unnecessary for feedback.

  3. Confirm the schedule

Make sure SMTP and the hosting worker are configured. Delivery can still fail or remain unconfirmed, so inspect status before retrying.

Avoid this mistake

Do not automatically resend an unconfirmed message without checking whether the provider accepted it.

What to check

Review queued, sent and unconfirmed statuses separately and investigate errors before another attempt.

Verify the actual setup

A feature can be present in the interface while still needing service configuration. Check the relevant connection, allowance and approval state before telling the team it is ready. Keep credentials in authorised administrator settings and private backups. Use sample data for routine checks and avoid sending real requests, publishing replies or making payments simply to prove a screen loads.
