REVIEW REPLIES

Assign reply ownership across a small team

A shared inbox needs clear responsibility or several people may draft conflicting replies. Assigning ownership also helps the team recognise reviews that require a manager rather than a routine response.

A practical workflow

  1. Choose a reviewer

Decide who checks new feedback and who can approve public wording. Keep credentials with authorised account holders.

  2. Define escalation

List the situations that need management, such as billing disputes, sensitive personal details or a threatened complaint.

  3. Avoid duplicate work

Check whether a reply already exists on the platform before publishing. A review may have been answered outside reviewbuddy.in.

Avoid this mistake

Do not share administrator credentials as a shortcut for assigning responsibility.

What to check

Review unanswered items and duplicate-reply incidents, not only the total number of drafts.

Check the publication boundary

A reply draft and a public response are different states. Publishing to Google requires approved application setup and an authorised Business Profile connection. If those are unavailable, do not describe the draft as sent. Optional automatic replies should have an explicit owner policy and ongoing checks. The business remains responsible for the wording published under its name.
