REVIEW REPLIES

Check a Riya reply draft before publishing

An AI-assisted reply can be fluent while still containing an unsupported promise or wrong assumption. The business remains responsible for what appears under its name on a public platform.

A practical workflow

  1. Compare with the review

Confirm the draft responds to the actual issue. Check that a missing detail has not been filled with a plausible guess.

  2. Check authority

Remove commitments the team cannot make, such as refunds, guaranteed outcomes or policy exceptions. Escalate when a decision needs approval.

  3. Confirm publication

Use the authorised publishing route and verify the platform result. A saved draft is not a public reply.

Avoid this mistake

Do not assume every positive-sounding reply is appropriate for the business’s policies.

What to check

Record whether the final approved reply matches the review and the business’s actual ability to help.

Check the publication boundary

A reply draft and a public response are different states. Publishing to Google requires approved application setup and an authorised Business Profile connection. If those are unavailable, do not describe the draft as sent. Optional automatic replies should have an explicit owner policy and ongoing checks. The business remains responsible for the wording published under its name.
