REVIEW REQUESTS

Explain the Google posting step in your invitation

Customers may not realise that checking a Riya draft and publishing a Google review are separate actions. Clear expectations reduce the chance that someone leaves believing their feedback is already public.

A practical workflow

  1. Describe the sequence

Say that the customer can check the draft, copy it and open Google. The final paste and post happen on Google itself.

  2. Mention sign-in simply

Google may ask for the customer’s account. Never request their Google password or offer to sign in on their behalf.

  3. Avoid false completion

Use language such as Continue to Google rather than Review posted before publication is actually known.

Avoid this mistake

Do not claim that a click or copied draft is a confirmed published review.

What to check

Ask a test visitor to explain what still needs to happen after the copy action.

Keep the invitation genuine

Google’s rules prohibit fake and incentivised engagement. Use a consistent invitation for real customer experiences, including critical ones. Keep support, refunds and service access independent of public feedback. reviewbuddy.in supports manual WhatsApp Web sharing; email requests require SMTP setup and explicit approval. A sent invitation does not prove that a customer has posted.
