REVIEW REQUESTS

Time review invitations around the customer journey

Timing affects whether a request feels relevant or intrusive. The right moment depends on what the customer has actually experienced, so a universal delay can be less useful than a clear service milestone.

A practical workflow

  1. Identify the milestone

Use completion, checkout or a meaningful class experience. For delivered goods, allow the person to receive the item before asking about it.

  2. Avoid busy moments

Do not interrupt treatment, exercise, travel or an unresolved service discussion. Offer the invitation when the customer can reasonably choose what to do.

  3. Keep reminders limited

If a reminder is appropriate, make it gentle and optional. Respect anyone who asks not to receive further requests.

Avoid this mistake

Do not mistake a completed payment for proof that the customer has experienced the full service.

What to check

Keep the invitation genuine

Google’s rules prohibit fake and incentivised engagement. Use a consistent invitation for real customer experiences, including critical ones. Keep support, refunds and service access independent of public feedback. reviewbuddy.in supports manual WhatsApp Web sharing; email requests require SMTP setup and explicit approval. A sent invitation does not prove that a customer has posted.
