GETTING STARTED

Find the correct Google review destination

A review invitation is only useful if the final destination belongs to the place the customer visited. Businesses with similar names or multiple branches need an extra check before saving the Google link.

A practical workflow

  1. Start from the listing

Open the actual Business Profile or Google listing for the location. Compare the address, name and public map position with your own details.

  2. Test a fresh session

Open the review destination on another browser or phone. Confirm that a customer can recognise the place even if Google asks them to sign in.

  3. Save one source of truth

Keep the approved destination in the location settings. Avoid putting a different Google link in a printed caption or a WhatsApp template.

Avoid this mistake

Do not assume the first search result is your business or that a map search URL opens the review composer.

What to check

Review the final listing reached from the customer journey after every location change.

A practical first check

Open the customer page as someone who has never seen your settings. They should recognise the business, understand the invitation and know what happens after copying a draft. Test with sample text and stop before posting to a live listing. The purpose is to find friction, not to create artificial customer evidence.

Choose one clear campaign objective →

It is easier to improve a campaign when you know what question it should answer. A QR at reception and a link sent after service may both collect feedback,.
