GETTING STARTED

Prepare business details before onboarding

Good onboarding starts with accurate details, not a collection of marketing claims. Gather the business identity and review destination before opening the setup screen so the customer page can be coherent from the first visit.

A practical workflow

  1. Collect public details

Prepare the familiar trading name, category, city and public address. Use information customers already recognise from the location they visited.

  2. Choose a usable logo

Use a clean, readable version with enough contrast on a white background. Test it at mobile size rather than only in the original artwork.

  3. Assign responsibility

Choose one person to check the saved location and campaign before sharing. Record who will maintain those details when the business changes.

Avoid this mistake

Do not put private staff contact details or internal notes into public business fields.

What to check

Look for fewer corrections during the first campaign test, rather than treating form completion as customer success.

A practical first check

Open the customer page as someone who has never seen your settings. They should recognise the business, understand the invitation and know what happens after copying a draft. Test with sample text and stop before posting to a live listing. The purpose is to find friction, not to create artificial customer evidence.

Choose one clear campaign objective →

It is easier to improve a campaign when you know what question it should answer. A QR at reception and a link sent after service may both collect feedback,.
