GETTING STARTED

Separate a demo from a real customer journey

A public demo helps owners understand a review flow without collecting a real review. It should be obvious which business, draft and actions are samples so nobody mistakes an example for live customer activity.

A practical workflow

  1. Label the sample

Use a clearly fictional example and visible demo wording. Keep sample ratings and analytics separate from production records.

  2. Explain the AI behaviour

If the preview uses prepared drafts, say so. A quick demonstration should not be presented as evidence of live provider performance.

  3. End without publication

Let visitors inspect the copy step while explaining what happens in a real Google handoff. Do not automatically post sample text.

Avoid this mistake

Never count demo activity as business reviews or use sample customer quotes as testimonials.

What to check

Check whether a first-time visitor understands the difference between trying the demo and starting a real campaign.

A practical first check

Open the customer page as someone who has never seen your settings. They should recognise the business, understand the invitation and know what happens after copying a draft. Test with sample text and stop before posting to a live listing. The purpose is to find friction, not to create artificial customer evidence.
