GETTING STARTED

Use the onboarding checklist as a launch check

A setup checklist is useful when it reflects the actual customer journey. Treat each completed item as something to verify, rather than a reason to share an untested campaign immediately.

A practical workflow

  1. Check the identity item

Confirm the saved name, category and logo are accurate. A placeholder image can complete a form without helping a customer recognise the business.

  2. Check the destination item

Make sure the active location has a valid Google review destination. Test that destination in the same way a visitor would open it.

  3. Check the campaign item

Create an active campaign for that location and open it on mobile. Only then print or share the QR.

Avoid this mistake

Do not treat an inactive location or an old campaign as proof that the current journey is ready.

What to check

Use a successful phone test as the final launch check after all setup items are complete.

A practical first check

Open the customer page as someone who has never seen your settings. They should recognise the business, understand the invitation and know what happens after copying a draft. Test with sample text and stop before posting to a live listing. The purpose is to find friction, not to create artificial customer evidence.
